Your Level Is Not Your Pathway

The Level IX assessment provides several connected results.

You may receive an overall score, individual category levels, an archetype, and priority optimization pathways.

Each result helps explain a different part of your current health and performance profile.

Understanding the difference is important because your level is not the same as your pathway.

What Is Your Level?

Your level reflects your current stage within the Level IX journey.

It provides a benchmark that helps describe where you are today and creates a reference point that may be tracked over time.

Your level is not a grade and it is not a judgment.

A lower level does not mean failure. It means the assessment has identified meaningful opportunities to strengthen your current foundation.

A higher level does not mean that every area is fully optimized. You may be performing well overall while still having one or two categories that deserve focused attention.

What Is Your Archetype?

Your archetype provides a broader interpretation of your assessment profile.

It helps bring together your goals, category results, and performance patterns in a way that is easier to understand.

An archetype may reflect a profile that is primarily focused on:

  • Rebuilding a stronger foundation
  • Improving recovery and resilience
  • Supporting physical performance
  • Increasing mental clarity
  • Protecting long-term health

Your archetype is not directly tied to one specific level.

People at different levels may share the same archetype because they have similar priorities, even if their current performance differs.

What Is a Pathway?

Your pathways identify the areas where focused support may have the greatest impact.

The five Level IX pathways are:

  • Metabolic Optimization
  • Hormone Optimization
  • Recovery & Resilience
  • Cognitive Performance
  • Longevity Optimization

Your primary pathway typically reflects the category presenting the strongest opportunity.

Additional pathways may be identified when more than one area deserves attention.

How the Results Work Together

Think of your results this way:

Your level describes your current stage.

Your archetype helps explain your broader profile.

Your pathways identify where to focus.

For example, someone may have a strong overall level but still receive Recovery & Resilience as a priority pathway because sleep, stress, or recovery is limiting otherwise strong performance.

Another individual may have a developing overall level and receive Metabolic Optimization because building a stronger physical and metabolic foundation may create the greatest initial impact.

Why the Distinction Matters

Without this distinction, someone might assume that their level automatically determines which service or product they need.

That is not how the Level IX Method is designed to work.

Your assessment creates a structured starting point. Your pathway recommendations help organize potential priorities. A licensed provider then considers your individual health information, goals, and needs before determining what may be appropriate.

Your results provide direction—not an automatic treatment decision.
